On November 18, the Chinese delegation of WUAVF HQ and Mr. Thomas Pfau, International Consultant of WUAVF, had a meeting with the team from WUAVF Greece Chapter for the Review and Report during the year of 2018-2023 as well as the Prospect and Plan in the year of 2024.
During the stay in Athens from Nov.18 to Nov.20, Mr. John Dagklis, President of WUAVF Greece Chapter, arranged several visits to local drone and security companies, including a Greek Drone Manufacturing Company – ‘Spirit Aeronautical Systems (S.A.S)’ and Vanguard Security Company, whose CEO Mr. Manos Angelakis hosted a Night Surveillance Drone Flight Demonstration in the Operation Room, located in the Municipal of Voula, as well as the AXIA Training Center to talk with the Director Mr. Nikos Kaloskamis.
Besides, Chairman Yang was invited to be the distinguished guest to deliver a remark on Drone Photography & Drone Pilot of the Year 2023 at the Royal Olympic Hotel. The ceremony is organized by PhotoNet Magazine & Nexus Media S.A.
Chairman YANG Jincai was invited to give a short interview to Security Manager magazine in regards to his insight and thought on the drone application in the field of security.
And during the visit to Vanguard Security Company, WUAVF HQ delegation discussed with Mr. XIAO Junzheng, His Excellency the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the Hellenic Republic and Mr. Konstantinos Diamantakos, Head of Drone Sections, Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority on the promotion of Greek Low Airspace Economy.
Finally, we congratulate on Mr. John Dagklis to be as the President of World UAV Federation Greece Chapter (New Term of five years). And we are prospecting our collaboration on the 1st Automation – Robotics and Drones Exhibition, held from April 12 to 14 in the coming 2024.
